The Benchmark Scientific D1000 Homogenizer is a compact, handheld rotor-stator homogenizer designed for fast and efficient disruption, emulsification, and suspension of biological samples. Engineered for versatility, the D1000 processes sample volumes ranging from 100 µL to 250 mL, making it ideal for use in microtubes, 15 mL and 50 mL conical tubes, and small vessels.

Equipped with a powerful 130W motor, the D1000 delivers variable speeds from 8,500 to 30,000 RPM across six settings. This precision allows for optimal control over sample shearing, ensuring consistency and reproducibility across applications like tissue homogenization, DNA/RNA prep, and cell lysis. The rotor-stator mechanism draws in the liquid sample, shears it mechanically, and repeatedly cycles it through the stator slots for complete homogenization—often in under 30 seconds.

Included are two stainless steel generator probes (5mm and 7mm, 50mm long), ideal for use with microtubes and small volume containers. The autoclavable probes are easy to sterilize and built for long-term use. Additional generator sizes are available for processing larger volumes up to 250 mL.
