Empowering the Future of Science Education

The National 131 Series Monocular LED Compound Microscopes combine precision, durability, and classroom versatility—making them a trusted choice for biology and life science education from middle school through college prep labs. Available in both cordless (131-RLED) and corded (131-CLED-MS) models, this series delivers professional optical performance and ergonomic design suited for everyday classroom use.

Each model features achromatic DIN objectives (4X, 10X, 40XR) paired with a widefield 10X eyepiece with revolving pointer for sharp, parcentered, and parfocal images. The mechanical stage (standard on the 131-CLED-MS, optional on 131-RLED) provides smooth, precise slide control—ideal for detailed lab work and specimen tracking.

The LED illumination system ensures bright, cool lighting for extended use, with the cordless 131-RLED offering up to 50 hours per charge via a rechargeable NiMH battery, and the corded 131-CLED-MS providing consistent, plug-in reliability. Built from rugged all-metal construction with slip-clutch focus protection and locked-on components, both models are designed to withstand years of student handling.

Compact, dependable, and easy to operate, the National 131 Series delivers the perfect balance of precision, portability, and classroom-ready performance for modern science instruction.
