The Benchmark SB-12L Digital Shaking Water Bath combines precision temperature control with orbital agitation in a compact, energy-efficient design ideal for molecular biology, microbiology, and general lab applications. With a 12-liter seamless stainless steel chamber, this versatile bath features a built-in spring-loaded universal platform that accommodates a wide variety of vessels—from 15 mL and 50 mL tubes to Erlenmeyer flasks and media bottles up to 1L.
Powered by the same belt-less motor drive system found in Benchmark’s Orbi-Shaker™ Series, the SB-12L ensures smooth and consistent orbital shaking, promoting even temperature distribution and optimal mixing performance. The digitally controlled display panel allows users to easily set and monitor temperature (up to 80°C), time, and shaking speed, while maintaining stable operation across all parameters.
A hinged, removable lid helps conserve energy, reduces splashing, and prevents condensation from dripping into samples. Optional accessories include interchangeable tube racks for microtubes, and custom rack solutions are available by request to meet your lab’s unique needs.
