The Benchmark Scientific MyBlock II Dual Chamber Digital Dry Bath is a next-generation heating block system designed to deliver maximum precision, flexibility, and efficiency for modern laboratory workflows. This model includes two Quick-Flip™ universal blocks (BSWCMB), offering seamless compatibility with a wide range of common tube sizes—from 0.2 mL to 2.0 mL, as well as PCR strips and PCR plates.
With dual independent heating zones, the MyBlock II allows users to run two protocols simultaneously with separate temperature settings—perfect for labs handling high-throughput or diverse sample types. Its digital microprocessor control ensures accurate, programmable temperature regulation in both timed and continuous modes, giving you complete control and confidence.
A hinged transparent lid creates a warm air jacket that minimizes temperature stratification while conserving energy. The lid can be flipped open or removed to accommodate taller tubes or unusual configurations, enhancing both convenience and functionality.
For added precision, the unit is compatible with an optional external temperature probe, which can be inserted directly into a sample tube to monitor the actual internal temperature—ideal for sensitive procedures like enzyme incubation, PCR prep, and nucleic acid work.
Compact yet powerful, and modular in design, the MyBlock II is compatible with additional blocks (sold separately) for tubes up to 50 mL, making it a reliable solution for clinical, academic, biotech, and molecular biology laboratories.
